Skiing and Snowboarding at Adanac Ski Hill ⛷️
Adanac has officially opened for the season! With beginner, novice and advanced runs, everyone is sure to have a great time at the hill. As of publication, most of the runs are open, but check the city’s website for real-time updates. A full-day pass is $53 for adults, and discounted tickets are available for children and seniors.
Anora on the Big Screen 🎥
For the movie buffs — head to Sudbury Indie Cinema this Saturday at 2 pm for a screening of comedy-drama and Oscar-contender Anora. Anora, a young woman from Brooklyn, gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled (rated R).
Joint a paint party this Saturday night and create a beautiful piece of artwork to take home! An artist will guide you through the process and all supplies are provided. Beginners are welcome! Tickets are $50 and available here (ages 19+).
Sunday Night Karaoke 🎤
Head to the National Tavern this Sunday from 10 pm to 2 am for drinks and karaoke. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a first-time singer, it's guaranteed to be a blast! Hosted by Johnny’s DJ Service.
New Year’s Hike 🥾
Join the Rainbow Routes Hike Club’s first hike of the year on Saturday from 1–3 pm at St. Nicholas Greenspace. Enjoy a leisurely 4 km walk with stunning views from Coniston to Copper Cliff. Meet at the York St. parking lot (across from Bell Park), dress for the weather, and bring winter footwear or snowshoes!
