Easter Egg Hunt 🐰

The Easter Bunny is making a stop at Kivi Park on Saturday! Drop by anytime between 11 am and 2 pm for a family-friendly egg hunt, with popcorn, cotton candy, and warm drinks from The Wishing Tree Café. Donations to the Accessibility Fund are welcome at the door.

LEGO Exhibit 🧱

Head to Science North this weekend for a hands-on LEGO experience. With over 100 vibrant sculptures and interactive zones, the Brick Masters Studio exhibit blends science, engineering, and creativity. Explore colour theory, structural design, and shape transformation as you step inside a working art studio. Try your hand at building, experiment with design principles, and get inspired to create your own LEGO masterpiece.

Moonlight Beach Hike 🥾

Join the Sudbury Fresh Air Group this weekend for a scenic 8.5 km hike to Perch Lake via Moonlight Beach. Meet at 11 am on Saturday near the main building by the Moonlight Beach parking area. The trail is moderately difficult and offers great views along the way — perfect for some spring exercise!

Easter Pop-Up Market 🍸

Celebrate the season at Crosscut Distillery's Easter Pop-Up Market on Saturday from 12-4 pm. Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon of shopping from local vendors, sipping craft cocktails, and soaking up the spring vibes. Expect Easter treats, seasonal goodies, and fun for all ages.

Good Friday Fish Fries 🐟

Two great spots are serving up crispy, golden fish this Friday:

1. Lockerby Legion is hosting a Good Friday Fish Fry from noon to 6 pm. Dine in or grab takeout for $22 per person, with fish (halibut), chips, and coleslaw. Drive-through available while quantities last.

2. Knowhere Public House is offering a fish and chip special from 3–9 pm. Enjoy local fish in a beer batter with creamy or non-creamy coleslaw and crispy taters — $16 for one piece, $24 for two. Take-out available!

Egg Hunt in Onaping 🐣

Bring the kids to the Onaping Splash Park Field on Friday at 11 am for the 2025 Spring Egg Hunt! It’s free, fun, and happening rain or shine!

Good Friday fish for everyone! 🐟

If you live in outlying communities, there’s still Good Friday fish for you!

• Chelmsford: Cousin Vinny’s is having a fish fry buffet! Seating is first come, first served. Buffet also includes penne, chicken, perogies, salad, pizza, and more.

• Blezard Valley: Head to Mel’s Chipstand for a fish feast! Pre-orders available, call 705-521-4223.

• Coniston: Colonial Sports Bar’s got 8 oz beer battered haddock with fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce ready for you! Dine in or takeout.
