St Patrick’s Celebrations 🍀

This weekend is the time to celebrate St Patrick’s day! And there are many great celebrations to take part in across the city:

• The Sudbury Irish Arts Association is hosting a community dance on Sunday from 3-6 pm at Moose Lodge, featuring live traditional Irish music. Tickets available here.

• The Lockerby Legion is hosting a St Patrick’s Day gathering on Saturday from 1-5 pm, featuring the Lockerby Highlanders Pipe Band, Irish stew, green beer and more!

• The laGER and ALe band is performing Saturday night from 7-10 pm at Crosscut Distillery.

Happy Camper Tour 🎤

Alex Mackenzie brings his Happy Camper Tour to town this Friday night at Fraser Auditorium! With over 100 million views online and a stand-up special on Amazon Prime, Alex is a comedian you don’t want to miss. In this show, Alex shares hilarious stories from life on the road, traveling the country in his RV with his dog, Finley. Get your tickets here!

Nuit Blanche 2025 🎶

Don’t miss Nuit Blanche 2025 at McEwen School of Architecture this Saturday from 6 pm to midnight. This free community event will showcase a diverse range of installations, vendors, a silent auction, and live performances. Nuit Blanche after dark begins at 10 pm and is restricted to guests 18+. Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or clothing donation.

Kids Improv Class 🎭

Get ready for a fun-filled introduction to improv with the Oddhawks Improv Troupe at the Greater Sudbury Library! Teens and tweens will explore character creation and theatre through interactive games, sparking creativity and plenty of laughs. Class is this Friday from 1-2:30 pm at the main library branch on Mackenzie Street.

Lasting Impressions 3D 🎬

Easter Bunny Photos in Hanmer 🐰

Hop on over to Town & Country Clips for walk-in photo sessions with the Easter Bunny this Saturday (11:30 am to 1 pm) and Sunday (9:30–11:30 am)! $30 per session (cash only) includes a 5-minute meet & greet, 3 digital photos, and a special surprise egg for the kids. No appointment needed.

Pizza and Poetry in Dowling 🍕

Join Greater Sudbury’s Poet Laureate, Alex Tétreault, for a bilingual creative writing workshop that invites youth (ages 8+) to explore the wide world of poetry. Through a series of fun exercises and writing techniques, participants will discover new tools that will help them find and nurture their own voice.
